Full-stack rebuild with a Python backend and React frontend to modernize the stack while leveraging Python experience. Built during a working holiday in Australia with a component-based design, and a structure for showcasing data projects.
While I was in Australia on a working holiday visa, I started noticing how often React showed up in job descriptions. I didn’t want to throw away the Python knowledge I already had, so I rebuilt my portfolio using Python on the backend and React on the frontend. It helped me connect what I knew with what I needed to learn and gave me a better sense of how a modern stack actually fits together.
